All we need is love..and a bit of stationery!
Hello everyone, how have you been?
I am not creating even half as much as I would like to and that really frustrates me...main reason is that I need a new printer and I hope to go shopping for it this weekend, yuppie!
I have however manage to make this card for my mother-in-law birthday, which is today...happy birthday Sandra!
I have also made a few Valentine's Day cards, one of them will be given to my Valentine, of course! And I suspect I might have made the card I'll be receiving, too, lol!
Have a lovely day!

Monday Rocks!
It's only been a few months since I started my Happy Monday weekly post but I have already thought about a new name for it...which one? Monday Rocks, of course! I thought it would fit better within the essence of the blog and it would be an excellent way to start the week and make sure it's a rocking one :-)
So, same idea behind it, just a different name, what do you think?

Freebie Rocks!
Good morning all and happy Friday! I am having a bit of a change of heart about my 2 weekly posts, I thought Freebie Rocks would fit better as a title, what do you think? You can also follow my Pinterest board which goes by the same name here. There will be changes to my Monday's post, too, watch this space! Though you probably guessed already...gosh, am I getting so predictable?! Oh well, never mind!
Now, back to business...today's freebie is a pretty vintage rose envelope, because you never know when you are going to need one! Why not print it and keep it in a box together with some cards, little gifts like chocolates or sweets, and some paper and ribbon for those times when you have an unexpected birthday or anniversary to celebrate?
I chose this today in honour of my dear friend Rose who has just started venturing in the crazy blogging world. If cakes and all sweet and beautiful things are just your cup of tea, then start following her blog Sweet and Beautiful.
You can download this pretty envelope designed by Tania from Wild@Heart here. Enjoy!

Freebie Friday - Digital Wallpaper
Morning All! It's a lovely frosty morning here at Ilaria Rocks HQ :-)
How is January treating you? I know it's a new year and all that, but I say...don't get yourself all worked up in the pressure of a new start, new job, new life...take it easy, don't put yourself under too much pressure and if you want something new happening in your life, well, just do it when you are ready, not just because it's January! That's my approach, anyway.
One thing I love though is getting organized with a new diary (got a lovely Impressionism themed one for my birthday!), new calendar ( I am fishing for a Gorjuss one, if there are any left!) and I have also started using desktop wallpaper for my laptop that have a calendar on and some pretty pattern and pictures.
I found lovely ones online and they are all free to download. Here are the ones I downloaded from myself and a few of my other favourites.
These are the ones I downloaded for myself, designed by Studio of Mae, you can download yours here.
You can also download February & March here. There are wallpapers for your iPhone & iPad as well.
Download Pugly Pixel desktop and iPhone calendars here.
Enjoy and Happy Friday!

Lovely handmade goodies
By now you must have realised how much I love handmade goodies...I love making them and give them to my closest and dearest, but I have to confess I also love receiving them!!! So today I took some pics of some of the handmade pressies I received at Christmas to share them with you...
This sparkling green bracelet was a late birthday present from my cousin Joanne, it's handmade by a friend of hers.
This was picked up by my friend Emma during a trip to Annecy, in France...needless to say this is a rockin' charm and I always carry it with me now tied to my purse.
Emma was so kind to leave the business card attached to my pressie and I went to have a look at the blog of Pas de samedi sans bigoudi straight away and I have become a fan on Facebook as well, loads of great goodies on there and I hope to pass by any of the shops very soon!
This gift comes in really handy because I have also received some great books over Christmas...which will be revealed on my next post!
And what about you, have you received any handmade presents at Christmas? Let me know!
I simply love that cute hummingbird charm, don't you? |

These are some gorgeous bookmarks handmade by my friend Cristina! One for me and one for Stuart, who claimed the Coca Cola one straight away, while I am very pleased with my cupcake one!

Gorjuss Rocks!
I have been recently introduced to the wonderful world of Gorjuss and I had to share this with you...I love the illustrations created by the amazing Scottish artist Suzanne Woolcott, such cute characters, I just want to collect them all!
Please visit her Etsy shop here to discover her lovely artworks.
What is more, Santoro sells her unique designs on almost anything, from cups to calendars, notebooks, pens...needless to say I want them all because they are simply..gorgeous, obviously!
